NLX Operations Committee

DirectEmployers Association and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) formed an alliance in March 2007 to provide an employer-funded, jointly-administered National Labor Exchange (NLX) as a replacement for the discontinued America’s Job Bank.

DirectEmployers Association is closely working with state workforce agencies on the NLX through the NLX Operations Committee, a group formed to direct our unique public-private partnership. The committee is comprised of the following:

• Six state workforce agency representatives
• Six employers (strategic recruitment directors from large organizations)
• Staff members from NASWA
• Staff members from DirectEmployers Association

Recruitment Regulatory Compliance Committee

In April of 2010, the DirectEmployers Board of Directors approved the creation of a compliance committee—the Recruitment Regulatory Compliance Committee (RRCC). Three months later, the RRCC Charter was approved by the Board. The purpose of the RRCC is to:

1. Educate, inform and update members about compliance and related laws
2. Serve as primary liaison to educate and communicate members’ needs and perspectives to regulatory authorities
3. Track proposed changes in compliance legislation and assess impact
4. Make recommendations on compliance services and related programs offered by DE
5. Research and share information about speaking opportunities to further educate stakeholders about DE’s compliance services
