A leading association comprised of global employers and human capital research organization join forces to study how high-performance organizations will overcome one of the most critical human capital issues of 2014

January 7, 2014 (Indianapolis) — Two-thirds of organizations view talent shortages in critical areas as a highly important issue in 2014, yet only 17% believe they can effectively address it. This newly formed partnership between DirectEmployers Association, an employer-driven organization comprised of talent acquisition and inclusion professionals, and the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), a research organization that discovers the people practices that drive market performance, will confront this critical human capital issue via talent acquisition strategies and practices.

“Talent shortages in critical roles stifles organizational agility and thwarts effective strategy execution,” said Kevin Martin, Chief Research and Marketing Officer at i4cp. “The ability to know your critical talent segments and brand your organization to attract that talent is paramount. The combined expertise from i4cp and DirectEmployers will provide unparalleled insight into how high-performance organizations utilize sourcing, hiring, and inclusion practices to accomplish both.”

“The partnership benefits each party involved,” adds Bill Warren, Executive Director at DirectEmployers. “With DirectEmployers’ robust background in OFCCP compliance and demonstrated ability to establish business standards and i4cp’s long history of linking human capital practices to market performance, both organizations’ members will benefit greatly from this collaboration.”

The i4cp/DirectEmployers Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Analytics study is currently in the field and open for participation. While the full research report and analysis will be released in the spring, all who take part in this survey will receive a complimentary report that outlines the aggregate data findings.
