American Job Center
DirectEmployers and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration have joined forces to launch a Web portal to help job seekers match their current skills to new careers and find out what training is needed to transition from one job to another. This online tool from American Job Center (formerly CareerOneStop) is called “mySkills myFuture.” DirectEmployers is proud to be the provider of the jobs data.
About mySkills myFuture
mySkills myFuture helps laid-off workers and other career changers find new occupations to explore. Users can identify occupations that require skills and knowledge similar to their current or previous job, learn more about these suggested matches, locate local training programs, and/or apply for jobs.
The mySkills myFuture Career Match tool allows job seekers to type in a previous job and find new career opportunities that match current skills.
