The mission of DirectEmployers Association is to provide employers an employment network that is cost-effective, improves labor market efficiency and reaches an ethnically diverse national and international workforce. While we have made great strides toward this goal, there is a lot of work to be done and employers can complete the journey by working together. The .JOBS Universe holds the most promise for a unified, low-cost, employer-managed, single place on the Internet for employers to post jobs and job seekers to search jobs across all corporate web sites.

Building out the .jobs top‐level domain is revolutionary for the recruitment industry and the Internet. There are similar top‐level domains (TLDs), like .edu and .gov, that have exclusive communities with vetted and verified content. In addition to these features, the .jobs universe will create an environment of seamlessly integrated employment domains, a first ever interlinking and coordinated use of a TLD specifically for job seekers, human resource (HR) practitioners and the public good.

About Me

• Indiana University graduate with post-graduate studies in psychology at Edinboro University.
• Founder of Online Career Center (OCC), the first employment site on the Internet, in April 1992 and remained president of OCC after it was sold to TMP Worldwide (now Monster Worldwide) in December 1995. Named president of Monster.com in December 1998.
• Recipient of Employment Management Association’s prestigious Pericles Pro Meritus Award in recognition of being the founder of online recruiting and for outstanding contribution to the human resource profession.
