In a previous post I explained that no .JOBS Solution is the same. We have 125 different companies investing in a .JOBS strategy and everyone of them is a little bit different. With that said all 125 different solutions fit into three different scenarios. In my last two blog post I detailed scenario #1, Stand-Alone .JOBS Sites and scenario #2, Job Search Flexibility. Today I will be looking at scenario #3, Corporate Career Site. This scenario is exactly like it sounds, we take the .JOBS platform and use it to build out a companies corporate career site. The .JOBS platform corporate career site is completely hosted and maintained outside of the corporate .COM or .ORG domain. Companies that fall into this scenario typically start in scenario #2 where the .JOBS sites are the front face of job search and decide to transition over the rest of their career site content to the platform. The other content is typically in the form of branding and static content pages (i.e. benefits page, company culture page, or company story pages). By utilizing this scenario companies are able to completely merge all of the benefits of the .JOBS sites into their entire talent acquisition strategy. They will have a complete search engine optimized site that is easy to search and where one set of metrics/data can be pulled. Below is an image showing a visual breakdown of what is possible in this scenario along with two examples.
