In other local news, one of DirectEmployers’ Member companies, AT&T, utilized their .JOBS site in a creative effort to reach veterans. AT&T made local news in Arkansas for announcing 75 open positions throughout the state, as well as a national initiative to hire 5,000 veterans and their family members over the next 5 years. How did they use .JOBS to help veterans find the right jobs? By using the military crosswalk – it matches military skills and training with career opportunities at AT&T.
