The DirectEmployers Association has launched a new platform to help member companies and others attract diversity job candidates without the traditional vendor costs.

Called DirectBoard, the new platform is a hybrid job search engine complete with job posting and resumes database capability. DirectBoard is a free service provided by DirectEmployers to help small trade associations and niche job board sites reduce costs and heighten efficiency while passing savings on to companies large and small.

DirectBoard indexes thousands of updated employer job postings daily, providing jobs directly from the most reliable and trusted source, the employers themselves.

Among the first diversity sites to implement DirectBoard are Women for Hire, IMDiversity.com, Teachers of Color, and Disaboom.com.

“Our mission is about reducing recruitment costs and improving labor market efficiency through the development of new technology, used in a manner which acknowledges values, respects diversity and reflects the rich array of cultures represented in a broad global workforce,” stated Bill Warren, Executive Director of DirectEmployers Association. “DirectBoard provides a necessary solution to reach diverse candidates and cut vendor costs for our member companies. “
